At NBC you will get 3 days of playing games, infield/outfield, being coached by our Matador coaches plus over 100 swings, pitchers will face 20 batters, and a minimum of 12 at bats. NCAA rules do not allow any coaching staff to scout players away from campus between November and March. Cal State Northridge Showcase camps will be your only opportunity to be seen! In March, we are playing our own season and cannot get out to scout players. EIGHTEEN current Matador players and signee's are alumnus of our showcase camps.

Northridge Update: Summer 2008
Look at these amazing results from our Training Academy for 13-20 year old ballplayers after "only 3 weeks"

Our hitters have improved their Bat Speed between 3 and 12 mph. Our hitters have improved their 20yd,40yd,and 60yd dash times between .10 and.33 seconds. Our pitchers have improved their velocity between 1 and 4 mph. All this in only 3 weeks!! This training program is amazing!! We are so excited for our ballplayers. The power and speed improvements in our hitters means that what used to be batted balls hit for outs will now be balls hit for hits! Singles will now be doubles! And what guess what doubles are going to be with their additional power?

The velocity improvements in our pitchers means pitches made resulting in hits will now be pitches producing outs. And our guys are on a path to that magic number of 90 mph! One of our guys just hit 91mph several times and made a throw measuring 331ft. Three weeks ago his bests were 87mph and 310ft.

Our 13-14 yr. olds have climbed in velocity from the upper 60's to the low 70's in just 3 weeks. With 2.5 mph improvements each year from natural growth and 2.5 mph improvement from our training, they will throw 90mph before leaving High School!!!! That's how you catch the eye of college recruiters and pro scouts.
